Born in Muroran. When I was transferred to Nayoro, I started skiing at the age of five at the Nayoro Piyashiri Ski Resort. Graduated from Iwamizawa Higashi Elementary School, Iwamizawa Municipal Toko Junior High School, and then moved to the U.S. after entering Otaru Futaba High School. Graduated from Burke Mountain Academy in the U.S. and Hokkaido Tokai University.
As an elementary school student, I participated in junior ski competitions in the Asahikawa and Sorachi areas, which had many competitions at the time. In junior high, I began to stand out in alpine skiing, sweeping national junior titles such as the Junior Olympics and Hokkaido Championships, and by age 16, achieved first place in the GSL at the World Junior Championships. Won in two events, Downhill and Super Giant Slalom, at the All Japan Ski Championships and joined the All Japan National Team, traveling to competitions worldwide. After being selected as a candidate for the Alpine Speed Events in the Nagano Olympics, I left skiing and sports for six years to work as a professional. However, I decided to live true to myself and later turned into a professional skier. Joined Honda Team and ventured into skiing down the first-ever unexplored peaks above 6000m in the western Himalayas of Nepal, challenging ski descents on three other unclimbed peaks. During the same period, achieved top positions in specific events of the All Japan Technical Championships and was certified as an SAJ demonstrator.
Specializes in alpine competitive skiing, technical skiing, big mountain skiing, and powder skiing. Currently, most active in ski resorts in Hokkaido and the Asahikawa area, serving as an ambassador for brands and as an ambassador for Protect Our Winters Japan and Asahikawa Kamui Ski Links. Through activities aimed at conserving and improving snow environments, conveys the importance of towns and natural environments significantly related to human living conditions through outdoor sports events, ski lessons, sessions, and guiding to both Japanese and international audiences.
Has a track record of training coaching, giving lectures on themes such as "Sports and Brain Function," with talks including "Adventure Exists in Everyday Life. There is No Failure in Life." Also featured in various media and ski magazines.
